Andrew G. Logan, M.D., graduated from Brown University in1982 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology. He later attended the University of California School of Medicine, San Francisco, earning his Doctorate of Medicine degree in 1986. He then completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the University of California School Of Medicine, San Francisco in 1990.
Dr. Logan is a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. As a comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Logan treats various eye disorders such as glaucoma, dry eyes, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, pterygiums, eye allergies and cataracts. Dr. Logan’s patients appreciate his commitment to obtaining the best possible vision for them through bladeless cataract surgery and premium lenses that reduce the dependency on glasses.
Dr. Logan also serves as a principal investigator in numerous clinical trials to safely advance medications, treatments and medical devices one study at a time.
Dr. Logan has been practicing ophthalmology in South Florida since 1990 and has been in private practice in Tamarac, Florida since 2003. His focus on building strong relationships is evident as numerous patients have been with Dr. Logan for over 20 years due to his excellent patient care. His patients appreciate his kind staff and the time Dr. Logan takes with them answering questions and educating them on the health of their eyes.
