Ali Masoudi, M.D.

Dr. Ali Masoudi is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist with dual subspecialty expertise in cornea and medical retina. He completed his cornea fellowship at the prestigious Stein Eye Institute at UCLA and his medical retina fellowship at the world-renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute—both ranked among the top ophthalmology training centers in the United States.

With a strong academic background, Dr. Masoudi previously served as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in leading ophthalmology journals. He is actively involved in clinical research, focusing on innovative surgical techniques in corneal transplantation.
Dr. Masoudi’s primary clinical interests include cataract (Femtosecond laser assisted cataract surgery and premium IOL to correct astigmatism and near vision problem) and refractive surgery (LASIK, PRK, SMILE ) as well as the comprehensive management of corneal and retinal diseases. His expertise covers advanced corneal transplants such as: Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty (DALK), Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK), (DSEK), (PK), Epikeratoplasty.

He also specializes in treating retinal conditions including age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Masoudi has presented his research at major national and international conferences, including the World Cornea Congress and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) annual meetings. He is an active member of: American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS).

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Masoudi enjoys nature walks, fishing, and traveling with his family.
