Dr. Lara is the newest member of the Fort Lauderdale Eye Institute physician team. Dr. Lara specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with retinal disorders, including special interests in macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, uveitis, and severe ocular trauma. He routinely uses state-of-the-art surgical and laser techniques for various conditions such as retinal detachments, macular holes, and eye injuries.
Dr. Lara is Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
